Ambu offers a wide range of comfortable, skin-friendly electrodes for 3, 5, and 12 lead ECG testing.
Recognizing the need to reduce movement artifacts, we have developed a unique “offset” design in which lead wires are attached at the edge of the electrode rather than at the center. This prevents pulled leads from lifting the vital sensor area and ensures a stable, reliable signal even when a patient is restless.
Our offset design also makes it significantly easier to attach lead wires; press-stud connectors can be pinched between two fingers without pressing down on the patient. This also helps reduce the risk of spreading gel onto the adhesive area so the electrode stays firmly in place.
Neurology
For neurological examinations, Ambu offers both surface and subdermal electrodes, including our new, cost-effective single-patient use cup electrodes.
Ambu® Neuroline Disposable Cup Electrodes are the first 100% disposable units to feature a high-quality silver/silver chloride sensor. In comparative studies with leading multi-use electrodes, our single-patient use cup electrodes demonstrated the lowest impedance levels measured over the entire frequency interval.
Our extra sharp, lancet-cut subdermal needle electrodes for EEG/EP have been optimized to provide easy and reliable recording.
Our special neurological surface electrodes are ideal for use in sleep registration. They are easily placed on the face and the strong, yet skin-friendly, adhesion ensures that electrodes stay firmly in place and provide accurate measurements throughout the examination.
