Ambu’s cardiac electrodes for neonatology are designed to withstand some of the most demanding conditions in the hospital - high heat and 80% humidity inside an incubator, for example. Even so, our electrodes are gentle on the delicate skin of a premature baby. We also have extremely tiny electrodes for very premature babies up to term, which are also available in radiotranslucent versions. Many types are available in convenient packages of three, with US standard color-coded lead wires.
Special care has been taken with all of our respiratory care products for neonates so that they provide the same high level of quality and reliability as our adult models, yet are small enough to fit into incubators.
