This device is intended for use with devices where continuous gas flow is directed to the

patient. When used as directed, this device is designed to bleed off excess supply gas

which could result in undesired PEEP. This device is not intended to be used in place of

a pressure limiting valve unless used in conjunction with a pressure monitoring

gauge.
